It recovers 99.9% of alphanumeric passwords in seconds.The program includes the ability to import the hashes from a variety of formats, including dumping directly from the SAM files of Windows. There is also a LiveCD version which automates the retrieval, decryption, and cracking of passwords from a Windows system.
The creators of Ophcrack released a Linux liveCD - much like Knoppix – that automatically cracks the Windows password within a seconds. Just boot from the CD/DVD drive before the BIOS attempts the hard drive and leave it for a couple of minutes.

- Burn this image with the CD.
- Now restart your computer and boot it from the CD.
- It will boot the Linux liveCD, .It might ask you ‘which partition’ you want to scan,just select the partition in which your OS is installed and everything else will be done by itself. It will find the password for every user on that disc partition.

The File ophcrack-win32-installer-3.2.1 has a malware wich panda antivirus pointed out by the name of Generic Malware. i don’t know if it really contains a malware or just named it becuase of suspicious file name which includes “crack”. any thought about it?
Yeah dude , u r rite…even many anti virus software’s can detect keygen as a virus…so before use it just pause ur protection for sometime

here is the methods I know.
The first thing which you check if you forget login password. When we install Windows, it automatically creates an account “Administrator” and sets its password to blank. So if you have forget Your user account password then try this:
Start system and when you See Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys Twice and it’ll show Classic Login box. Now type “Administrator” (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from “Control Panel -> User Accounts”.
Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.
Windows XP and further versions also provide another method to recover forgotten Password by using “Reset Disk”. If you created a Password Reset Disk in Past, you can use that disk to reset the password. To know more about It, please visit http://www.resetwindowspassword.com/
I have downloaded windows password key 8.0. It is a very quick and useful utility for resetting passwords. It not only supports XP, 2000, and NT, I have personally tested it with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password.
