Enable Show Hidden Files and Folders in Windows

Folder OptionsIn Windows there are certain files or folders may be hidden by default so users don’t accidentally delete them or change them. This setting comes in from Microsoft . And sometimes users wanted to  hidden some files and folders to protect their confidentiality or to make them more secure.But what if you can’t see the folder options “show hidden files & folders” in the windows ? It may happens sometimes cause of some viruses.

So to display this options again in the folders options, just follow the simple steps :

Step 1 : Go to Start > Run > then Type gpedit.msc and hit Enter.

Step 2 : Then Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer

Step 3 : In the right side window search for the option namedRemoves the Folder Options menu item from the Tools menu. Right click on it and then click properties option.

Step 4 : Now under the setting tab , select Not configured or Disabled and click Apply, OK.
