How to Set an Automatic Vacation Response to Gmail Account

As we all know that Microsoft Outlook is having a feature for Automatic Vacation Response but if you are a Gmail user and want to send the auto reply to incoming message then you have to set up this from settings.

Gmail also having a Vacation responder feature where you can let others know why you won’t be responding to their e-mail for awhile.Vacation Responder sends an automated reply to incoming messages. If a contact sends you several messages, this automated reply will be sent at most once every 4 days.

Enable Vacation Auto Responder in Gmail :

Step 1 : Sign into your Gmail account and Click the Settings link on the upper right portion of your Gmail window.

Step 2 :  When the Mail Settings page appears, click on General Tab.

Step 3 : Scroll down and look for the Vacation responder, and set the Vacation responder on.

Step 4 : Type-in a subject and the message that you want your contacts to know about you being not able to respond back right away. Check the Only send a response to people in my Contacts option if you just want to notify the persons you have on your contacts list.

Step 5 : Click Save Changes to save your settings.

That’s it. So from now on keep your email friends and contacts informed while you enjoy vacation time.
