Sony Unveiled Worlds First Google Internet TV

Sony unveiled their Internet TV products powered by Google TV. Sony Internet TV will be the world’s first HDTV to integrate the Android-based Google TV platform. Sony Internet TV gives you more entertainment options than ever before. With this TV set you can watch HDTV, enjoy apps and browse the entire web seamlessly on one device. With the integrated search function, you’ll quickly and easily find what you’re looking for, whether it is on TV or on the internet.

The world’s first HDTV powered by Google TV gives you easy access to more entertainment than ever. Search the entire web, TV listings and apps to find exactly what you’re looking for. Watch TV, browse the internet, or do both at the same time on the same screen.

You can easily navigate between websites and TV or you can enjoy both at the same time, on the same screen, with Dual View. Also you can watch the game while tracking your fantasy team, tweet about the TV show you’re watching, or update your Facebook status while viewing a movie and so on.


If you already have HDTV then you can add Google TV to your existing HDTV with the Sony Internet TV Blu-ray Disc player. Sony will  introduce a blu-ray player with built-in Google TV soon. To setup Sony internet TV you will need a high speed internet connection. Sony recommends a 2.5Mbps bandwidth, 10Mbps for HD content.

Pricing details :: There are 4 televisions ranging from $599 to $1399 and in 24-, 32-, 40-, and 46-inch sizes. Blu-ray player is for $399.
