Pandora Radio is a revolutionary streaming music service that lets you listen to all of your favorite songs using an Internet connection. You can use a song you like to set up custom “radio stations,” allowing you to both hear tunes you love and discover all new ones from the same basic interface.
If you want to listen to Pandora on your iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad device, you can do so using the official application. Setting up the application is a breeze and will only take a couple of minutes.
Step 1
Download the official Pandora application from the iTunes App Store (if you haven’t already done so). You can search for Pandora by name or use the “Categories” button to browse applications by categories. The Pandora application is always near the top of all free apps in the “Music” section of the iTunes App Store.
Step 2
Tap the blue and white “Pandora” icon to load the Pandora Radio application on your iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad.
Step 3
Tap “I have a Pandora account” if you already have your own unique Pandora user account. If you already use Pandora on your computer, select this option. Type your Pandora username and password into the boxes on screen to continue. If you don’t already have a Pandora account, select the “I am new to Pandora” option. Fill out the form on screen to create your new free account before continuing.
Step 4
Tap inside the box labeled “Artist, Song or Composer” one time. Type the name of your favorite artist, your favorite song title or your favorite song composer. If the terms you entered are found within Pandora’s database, they will be returned in the “Search” results on screen. If the particular search term is not present in the database, similar artists, songs or composers will be returned in the results.
Step 5
Tap an artist, song or composer from the list on screen to generate a new personalized radio station. Songs matching the terms you entered will immediately begin to play. You can create another radio station at any time by searching for more terms.
You can also create a random radio station by tapping the “Quick Mix” button one time. When you have more than one radio station set up on your account, tap the name of a radio station to switch from the one you are currently enjoying to the one you just selected.
