Mozilla has released the beta version of Prism 1.0.<a onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/prism.mozilla.com');" href="http://prism.mozilla.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Prism</strong></a> is an application that lets users split web applications out of their browser and run them directly on their desktop.Prism was launched 18 months ago as an experimental project intended to bridge the divide in the user experience between Web applications and desktop apps, Mozilla wrote in a blog post.</div>
